Adesse, your phone
On your own Android phone

Every year. Cancel any time.
No new hardware. You back up the phone you already carry, reset it, then run our setup page on your computer once and let it do the work.
It asks the most of you up front, and it is the least you can spend to begin.
- Your own Pixel or Samsung phone
- Android 14 or newer
- A Windows or Mac computer, for setup only
- Setup erases the phone, so back up first
- A factory reset removes it, the same as on our phones
What you need to know
- Adesse cannot run on an iPhone. Apple does not allow an app this much control.
- Pixel and Samsung phones at launch, on Android 14 or newer. More to follow.
- Setup runs in Chrome on a Windows or Mac computer, with your phone plugged in by cable. Nothing to install. Once it is done, the computer is never needed again.
- Setup begins with a factory reset, which erases the phone. Back up your photos and files first, and sign out of your Google account before you reset, or the phone will lock you out afterward.
- You open our setup page, sign in, and plug the phone in. The page does the rest. You add your Google account at the end, not before.
- Your subscription keeps the app list curated and the website block lists current.
- Cancel and the phone stays yours. You choose how the protections wind down.
- A factory reset removes Adesse. That is true of our phones too. It is the way out, by design.
- Cell service is not included. Keep the plan and number you already have.
